Full Time Stage Technician -

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Stage Technician to join the expanding Staging services team.

Staging Services is a dynamic and vibrant facilities provider to the live events industry, throughout the UK and Europe.

Due to continued expansion we are now looking to recruit a talented stage technician to join our fun and professional team on a full time basis.

Do you like a challenge and have good hands-on practical skills? Does the live events industry excite you? Do you have what it takes to perform under pressure and still maintain a positive approach?

If the answer is yes then this just might be the job for you!

 

A Stage Technicians role will include;

Constructing stages both indoors and outdoors.

Building conference sets, dance floors, hanging star cloth and general installation of our other related presentational equipment.

Liaising with the projects team and warehousing.

Preparation of equipment for jobs and loading of the same onto company vehicles.

Covering of set panels.

Other duties as and when required.

 

As a stage technician you will require;

An enthusiastic attitude, a willingness to learn and develop as well as a passion for the events industry and a desire to be successful.

A good work ethic – Being reliable and punctual are essential in this role.

Flexibility to work at any time during day or night – We are a 24/7 365 days a year operation.

 Energy, enthusiasm and a positive mental attitude to help carry the team through a tough job.

 A capacity to learn and develop new skills quickly, with an eye for presentational detail and a   practical mind.

 A focus and passion for delivering the highest possible standard of service expected by our clients, and be prepared to go the extra mile to do so.

A tidy working disposition and an understanding of health and safety in the events workplace.

A good sense of humour and a friendly attitude to get along with both your colleagues and clients.

Good communication skills at all levels.

The ability to use your own initiative but also be able to work as part of a team.

Basic administration skills.

A full, clean driving license – 7.5ton an advantage but training may be provided if necessary.

Competitive rate of pay – Negotiable dependant on experience
